ADMINISTRATIVE AND FINANCIAL MANAGER
Founded in 2001 by Marie Moignot and Xavier De Wil, and joined in 2012 by Laurent Liefooghe as Artistic Director, MDW Architecture now employs around twenty people. Driven from the outset by the desire to “take care of people through our architecture”, Maison MDW is organized into small groups with complementary skills and experience. Like a workshop, we gather around objects, models and drawings to design by « doing ».

THE ROLE
The Administrative and Financial Manager contributes to the smooth running of the office through administrative and financial tasks. He/she acts as the right-hand man of the management. Economic efficiency, social equity and environmental quality will guide him/her through the missions below. You will be part of the Business Support team, a team of experts who support their colleagues in related tasks, enabling project teams to produce architecture with complete peace of mind. The values that guide our work are team spirit, integrity, efficiency, availability and creativity. The team is made up of a People Manager, a Communication Manager and an Administrative Architect.
MISSIONS
ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT
IT :
- Point of contact with external IT company
- Coordination and purchasing of IT hardware
- IT implementation (pourchasse of licenses, etc.)
- Initial IT support for employees
Contracts & Insurance :
- Assistance and management in drawing up contracts (architects, suppliers, temporary staff, etc.)
- Management of various office insurances (vehicles, building, professional liability, etc.).
Office Management :
- Creation, implementation, control and modification of procedures for the smooth running of the office (internet, heating, office tenant management, etc.).
- Direct contact and negotiation with various suppliers
- Management of agency buildings and external rentals (estimates, work and follow-up)
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (WITH EXTERNAL ACCOUNTANT)
- Point of contact with external accountant
- Invoicing control and follow-up
- Management of temporary company accounts
- Regular monitoring of budgets and investments with partners and external accountant
- Financial control of projects to ensure profitability and compliance with budget constraints
- Opening and follow-up of subsidy and investment credit applications
- Follow-up on litigation and disputes
- External relations: interaction with banks, customers and institutional partners
YOUR PROFILE
- Degrees in commercial sciences, economics, business management, accounting or equivalent
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in a small or medium-sized business or in the architecture or construction sector.
- Fluent in written and spoken French - knowledge of Dutch and/or English is an asset
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of organization and a sense of priorities
- Good analytical skills and rigor in budget management
- Autonomy, anticipation and proactivity
- Solution-oriented and process-oriented
- Good analytical skills and rigourous in budget management
- Excellent communication and team management skills. Ability to work with diverse personalities
- Good command of Suite Office and Copilot
- Knowledge of HORUS accounting software and its extension FALCO is an asset
- Knowledge of the construction sector and architectural sensitivity is a plus
